About The EWQA

About the EWQA

The Eastern Water Quality Association is a regional professional association representing the household, commercial, industrial and commercial water treatment industries.  The association promotes training, educational programs and certification to enhance the knowledge and competence of water treatment personnel. Each individual can update technical and business knowledge by attending programs presented at EWQA’s annual conference/trade show and participating in one or more of the three to four Road Shows sponsored by the association throughout the year.

Road Shows
Road Shows are one day events featuring educational seminars and mini-trade shows exhibiting displays from suppliers and manufacturers. The Road Shows are held at locations throughout the twelve EWQA states. Road Shows are listed in the association’s newsletter and on the EWQA website.

Trade Show
An annual trade show, which features suppliers and manufacturers from across the country, is the highlight of the association’s year. These companies demonstrate and exhibit the most advanced products and services available on the market today. At the trade show, attendees can find out what is new to the industry, reestablish ties with existing suppliers and manufacturers and gain insight into new products. The trade show is combined with a professional conference -- two days of educational seminars, which makes this EWQA event a “can’t miss” exciting opportunity

Water Quality Association Seat Time Points
All of our road shows and the Convention/Tradeshow provide seat time credits for those individuals who are WQA Certified; it is also an opportunity to begin the WQA certification program. WQA exams are offered at most EWQA educational events.

Publications
The association communicates with members using a quarterly newsletter. The newsletter keeps members informed of many important industry and legislative issues, as well as general trade information on a state and national level. A directory containing a complete roster of EWQA members, firm names, addresses, and phone numbers is published on annual basis.

Website
The association also keeps members informed through this website, which is periodically updated in order to provide the best online services to members.

Experiences
By joining EWQA and participating in its programs and activities, water treatment professionals will build a network of colleagues that benefits both their business and personal professional life. Perhaps the greatest membership benefit of all is the face to face exchange of industry ideas and experiences.
